Review highlights
Based on 1,307 reviewsRestaurant Can Granyela is frequently praised for its authentic Mediterranean cuisine, with particular acclaim for its homemade dishes such as the paella and French onion soup, which many customers highlight as standout options. The establishment's unpretentious, family-run atmosphere and attentive service contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Guests appreciate the quality and freshness of ingredients, though some note variability in dish seasoning. The reasonably priced menu and occasional special touches, like complimentary desserts, enhance overall satisfaction. Due to its popularity and limited seating, advance booking is recommended. Overall, Can Granyela is regarded as a charming local gem that delivers flavorful, traditional meals with a personal touch.
We went here twice because it was so good and the prices were low. The first time they gave me ice cream with the chocolate cake but the second time they didn’t. So I asked them if they could give me some . and it was an overall great experience
I have Tried the onion soup, it was delicious. The owner was really nice. The others dishes not as good as the soup.
A fabulous, family-run, unpretentious little restaurant with a team who are clearly proud of their business, and so they should be. Quality was superb, home-made is evident, and that is always worth the little extra wait. (Our server even explained this). So good, we went back twice. Order the Paella off the carte if you go (rather than the set menu). Best paella I’ve tasted in a long time, cooked with squid ink and garnished with generous seafood with plenty of flesh, as opposed to just meatless exoskeletons which many restaurants will give you. And value ? Superb!
This is always one of our favorite places to go to when we come for holidays. I love their french onion soup with egg! So creamy! I usually try the garlic prawns.. but this time the sauce was quite spicey and so I couldn't eat them - but they were not too spicey for my husband ! He thoroughly enjoyed them! My husband has tried the steak - really tender . This time he tried the muscles and we also shared a mixed paella - everything was great! The owner is charming.. always remembers us and greets us like friends - he greets everyone like friends, which is part of the charm of this restuarant.
On thé back street this place is a definite find! The lobster paella is the reason you visit, but please ask for the black rice the flavour is divine. The service is great they are busy. Book ahead!
We ordered paella here, it was the best paella I ever had
